Gli italiani leggono poco. A confermarlo l’ultima raccolta dati di Eurostat, che vede l’Italia al terzultimo posto sui 27 membri dell'Unione europea. Secondo la lista pubblicata il 9 agosto in occasione della ricorrenza, non ufficiale, del Book Lovers Day 2024, per numero di lettori il<em> bel Paese</em> precede solo la Romania (ultima) e Cipro.

Entrando nel dettaglio, la percentuale di italiani che nei 12 mesi presi in considerazione* hanno letto almeno un libro raggiunge il<strong> 35,4%</strong>.
